Art Basel Week Yacht Charter in Miami
The first week of December belongs to the art world. Art Basel Miami Beach opens to the public December 4-6, 2026, at the Miami Beach Convention Center, with invitation-only VIP Preview Days on December 2 and 3. Around it, Miami Art Week fills the city with satellite fairs, gallery dinners and private receptions. Hotel lobbies are full, restaurants are booked solid and the causeways slow to a crawl.

Formats that work during Art Basel week
- Sunset cruise between fair days (4 hours).This is the most requested format of the week. Board after the fair closes and cruise past the Venetian Islands and Star Island toward the Downtown and Brickell skyline, then watch the sun set over the city with champagne in hand. - Client or collector dinner at anchor (4-6 hours).A private chef or catered dinner served on the aft deck in a calm spot on Biscayne Bay. It's intimate, unhurried and entirely yours.
- Daytime escape (6-8 hours).For the days you're not at the fair: a long anchor stop, a swim and lunch on board, then back in time for the evening's openings.
- Transfers by water.Many Art Week parties and dinners take place at waterfront venues and residences. Where a venue has a dock that can receive the yacht, we can plan your arrival by water so you skip the traffic and arrive as your guests' host. Tell us the address and we'll confirm what's possible.

The first week of December is one of the busiest of the year on Miami's water. The most sought-after yachts and sunset slots on December 3, 4 and 5 are usually the first to go. Closest to the fair: Miami Beach Marina and Venetian Marina are both on the Miami Beach side of the bay, a short drive from the Convention Center. Downtown departures from Aston Martin Residences and Brickell suit guests staying across the bay. Your exact marina is listed on each yacht page.

How far in advance should we book?
As early as you can. Art Week is one of the busiest weeks of the year on the water, and the most popular yachts and sunset slots fill first. A 50% payment holds your date.
Does a yacht charter include access to Art Basel?
No. Fair tickets, VIP Preview access and official events are issued by the fair organiser and are separate from any charter. We plan your time on the water around the days you have.
Where do Art Week charters depart from?
That depends on the yacht. Miami Beach Marina and Venetian Marina are closest to the Convention Center, and Downtown, Brickell, the Miami River and Coconut Grove are also options. Each yacht page lists its marina, and we can arrange chauffeured transfers.
Can we host a client reception or collector dinner on board?
Yes. Our concierge team arranges catering or a private chef, champagne and wine, music, decor and branded touches. Most yachts welcome up to 13 guests, and each yacht page shows its exact limit.
Can you take us to a waterfront event by yacht?
Often, yes. If the venue or residence has a dock that can receive the yacht, we can plan an arrival by water. Share the address when you enquire and we'll confirm.
