Boat Rental in Miami, With Captain
Looking for a boat rental in Miami? With OREA Miami you get a private boat or day yacht with a licensed captain and crew, from $2,300 for 4 hours, all-inclusive. Fuel, soft drinks, the standard crew gratuity and taxes are already in the price. You bring your friends and your sunscreen; we take care of everything else.
Every boat comes with a captain
We don't offer self-drive or bareboat rentals. Every boat and yacht we arrange comes with a licensed captain and crew, and here's why that's the better way to spend a day on the water in Miami:
- No boating license, no stress. You don't need any experience or paperwork to drive. Just step on board.
- Everyone gets to enjoy it.No one in your group has to stay sober to drive, watch the depth or handle the anchor.
- Local knowledge.Your captain knows where the sandbar is calm, where to swim, which channels to take and where to watch the sunset.
- Docking and anchoring done for you.The trickiest part of boating in Miami is handled by people who do it every day.

Boat rental vs. yacht charter: what's the difference?
In Miami, "boat rental" usually means a smaller boat for a few hours, and "yacht charter" means a larger yacht with a crew. With OREA Miami the line is simpler: every booking is private and crewed, and the price is all-inclusive whatever the size. Our Day yachts are the closest thing to a classic boat rental: compact, quick to the sandbar and easy for small groups, but with a captain, a crew and the comfort of a real yacht, including shade, seating and a swim platform.
If you're comparing with self-drive boat rentals, remember what's usually added on top there: fuel, a deposit for damage, the time it takes to learn the boat, and the stress of docking in a busy marina. With us, the price covers the captain, the crew, the fuel, the gratuity and the taxes, and you spend the whole time enjoying the water.
Which boat is right for you?
- For speed and style:the VanDutch 40 (up to 8 guests) or the Azimut Verve 42, both from North Miami.
- For the best value:the Azimut Atlantis 45, from $2,300 for 4 hours, close to the Haulover Sandbar.
- For a cruise through the city:the Galeon 45 "Kira" or Prestige 45 "Amani", down the Miami River and into the bay.
- For space and stability:the Fountaine Pajot 50 Sailing Catamaran, with a wide deck and easy swimming.
- For a calmer day in the south bay:the De Antonio 42 from Coconut Grove.
