About Villa Lotus
Villa Lotus is a Balinese-inspired retreat in Miami Shores, entered across a koi pond and surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Clean contemporary lines, warm wood, smooth marble floors and pieces of Indonesian craftsmanship give the house a calm, serene character from the first step.
Everything is on a single level. Six bedrooms open onto patios and terraces, and the primary suite with a king bed looks over the pool and has a generous bathroom of its own. One wing works as a separate guest house, which suits families and friends who like a little privacy. The open living areas, the TV lounge, the dining room and the gourmet kitchen flow straight out to the garden.
Outside, the pool is the heart of the day, with loungers in the sun, a covered veranda for long lunches and a grill for the evenings. Hand-carved chairs sit under the palms, and after dark the pool is lit for a last swim under the sky.
